Austin Kitchens With Expert Storage Solutions
In 2022 we had the privilege of being called back for a kitchen renovation. We previously had the pleasure of remodeling their master bathroom in 2018. Check out the Before and After photos of the master bathroom and this kitchen in our gallery. Our client made a statement with wall-to-wall pantry cabinets which created a ton of storage and a hidden espresso bar. They chose to go with a 2-tone color with white upper cabinets that go well with the farmhouse sink and quartz countertops. The oversized bakers island provides enough space to comfortably seat four and we topped it off with four classic pendent lights. Tying it all together with a built-in double oven, induction cook top, modern vent hood and porcelain wood tile, this kitchen checks all the boxes!

Our Complete Kitchen Remodel
Point Venture, TX 2023
This kitchen turned into more than just a kitchen remodel. We renovated the entire upper half of the home including the master bathroom, guest bathroom, flooring and stairs. The kitchen is adorned with shaker style, hard maple, painted cabinets. We topped the cabinets with a leather finished engineered stone and installed under cabinet LED lights. The built-in oven fits nicely with the glass cooktop close by and our clients loved the backsplash, especially the way it looks with the vent hood. They went with a single large pendent light over the island and the floors are porcelain wood look 7″x42″. The entire project took approximately 10 weeks to complete and the results are stunning.

Planning, Design & Proposal
- Planning & Design: In most cases we work with a designer that can provide a detailed drawing so you can see the transformation on paper before we begin. In some cases there won’t be a need for the extra cost of a designer because we will design and plan it together with you personally. Remember, a good plan means great results!
- Structural changes: Moving walls or opening up the space for that open concept? Depending on the complexity your project. We use a structural engineer if there is any doubt about structural integrity. Cost for an engineer ranges from 500.00 to 1000.00 depending on the size of the home and scope of the project.
- Proposal: Once all the details for the project are finalized. We will schedule a time to meet at the project site to take measurements and several photos. We will then take all the information and put together a comprehensive proposal. Our estimates always includes very detailed material list as well, so that you know what the entire job is projected to cost materials and labor.
Picking out Materials And Fixtures
- Building Materials: It is typically the contractors duty to pick up all the internal building materials to facilitate the job, at least in our case it is! Below are the thing, you as a customer will want to pick out and we are more than happy to help with that to.
- Cabinets: There are a few choices when choosing cabinets.
- RTA (ready to assemble): is the most cost-effective. There will be fewer choices in size and layouts though.
- Pre-made cabinets: which would come in 2nd as far as cost. You will have more choices in color, sizes, and layouts with pre-made cabinets.
- Custom-made cabinets: are the choice for most depending on the size of your kitchen. They are at the top end of the cost, but you would be surprised that they are not much more than pre-made and, in some cases, less. The benefit is that you can utilize every inch of your space. Plus, there are endless choices in wood species, colors, and layouts.
- Lighting: Types you may want to consider. Pendant lighting is a great accent for islands and peninsulas and can add style and color. Recessed light are a must for most and can be place anywhere in the ceiling with the new can less recessed light options (ceiling joists are no longer a problem with layout in most cases). You may also want to think about an exhaust vent/fan for your laundry room if it’s near the kitchen. This will help with heat from the washer and dryer.
- Plumbing (sinks & Faucets): There is a wide range of sinks and faucets alike and regardless of budget you will find the perfect combo that fit’s your needs, Delta would be a great place to start.
- Appliances (Stove, Microwave, Cooktop, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, garbage compactor, wine cooler): When looking for appliances or fixtures we suggest Build.com or Build with Ferguson. Home outlet Direct is a great place for kitchen appliances (online). If you are on a strict budget Home Depot or Lowes could be a good option.
- Countertops (Granite, Quartz & Engineered Stone): Granite will give you more color options and is unique in that no slab is the same, even if it’s the same product. Granite will also require sealing periodically. Quartz has been a pick for top designer and architects in the area for a long time. Quartz will also require sealing periodically. Engineered stone is a preferred option for a lot of clients due to it’s durability and you never have to seal it!
