In 2022, we were invited back for a complete kitchen renovation, building on the trust we established during their 2018 master bathroom remodel. This stunning kitchen has a modern feel with a touch of farmhouse charm.
This kitchen renovation showcases custom Kitchen Cabinets with floor-to-ceiling pantry storage and a hidden espresso bar. Our client chose a stylish two-tone design with white upper cabinets and blue lower cabinets, which complement the quartz countertops and beautiful backsplash. Additionally, the oversized baker’s island comfortably seats four, illuminated by four classic pendant lights. Completing the space is a built-in double oven, induction cooktop, modern vent hood, farmhouse sink, and porcelain wood-look tile, a timeless combination that checks every box.
Kitchen remodeling in Austin should feel organized and manageable from the very beginning. At MHM Remodeling, we guide homeowners through each phase of the process, from planning and measurements to material selections and final project preparation. Our goal is to create a kitchen that functions better, looks better, and performs reliably for years to come.
We begin by discussing your kitchen remodeling goals, budget, layout needs, and overall vision for the space. If needed, we can work with a designer to create a detailed plan so you can see how the kitchen will come together before construction begins.
Once the project direction is clear, we take accurate measurements and review any structural changes that may be needed. If walls or openings are being changed, we use a structural engineer when required to protect the integrity of the home.
We help you select the materials and finishes that bring the kitchen together, including cabinets, countertops, backsplash, lighting, plumbing fixtures, appliances, flooring, and paint colors. Our goal is to help you make selections that fit your budget, style, and long-term needs.
After the details are finalized, we prepare the project for construction by organizing materials, confirming layouts, and protecting the work area before installation begins. This creates a smoother remodeling process and gives homeowners a clear understanding of what to expect.
We delivered a whole-home renovation that included this spacious open-concept kitchen and an amazing master bathroom. This kitchen is equipped with all the modern features our clients and homeowners alike are looking for, detailed below.
To begin, we renovated the entire upper half of the home, including the master bathroom, guest bathroom, flooring, and stairs. The kitchen features shaker-style, hard-maple painted cabinets topped with leather-finished engineered stone. Additionally, we installed under-cabinet LED lighting to brighten the workspace. The built-in oven pairs nicely with the nearby glass cooktop, and our clients loved the backsplash, especially how it flows around the vent hood. We chose a darker color to accent the kitchen island and selected a single large pendant light to top it off. Furthermore, we installed 7″×42″ porcelain wood-look tile throughout the second floor, including the master & guest bathrooms. Overall, the project took approximately 10 weeks to complete, and the results are truly stunning. To explore the primary bathroom, visit our Bathroom Remodeling page.
