This Pflugerville master bathroom remodel transformed the original tub and shower layout into an oversized walk-in shower with custom rift-cut white oak cabinetry and significantly more storage throughout the bathroom.
This Pflugerville master bathroom remodel included a complete renovation of the original space and a major reconfiguration of the tub and shower area. We removed the existing bathtub and expanded that area into a much larger walk-in shower, while the location of the original shower was converted into a 9-foot floor-to-ceiling linen cabinet. The remodel also included new custom cabinetry, countertops, flooring, plumbing fixtures, mirrors, lighting, paint, baseboards, and updated hardware throughout the bathroom.
Removing the original bathtub gave us the room to completely rework the shower area and build a much larger walk-in shower. The new shower features a frameless glass enclosure, large-format wall tile, pebble-style mosaic shower flooring, a linear drain, recessed shower niche, rain shower head, and handheld shower fixture. The new layout made much better use of the available space while giving the bathroom a more open and updated look.
All of the master bathroom cabinetry was custom made from rift-cut white oak with a clear-coat finish. A large double-sink vanity provides plenty of everyday storage, while the location of the original shower was converted into a 9-foot floor-to-ceiling linen cabinet. We also added a custom potty-topper cabinet in the water closet to provide additional storage and keep the cabinetry consistent throughout the bathroom.
New tile flooring was installed throughout the master bathroom along with new countertops, sinks, faucets, mirrors, vanity lighting, paint, and baseboards. We also replaced the door hardware to coordinate with the plumbing and cabinet hardware and updated the towel bars, towel rings, and toilet-paper holder. The homeowner’s newer existing toilet was reinstalled along with a bidet toilet seat.
