Floor Preparation, Tile & Custom Glass Backsplash
- 13″x13″ porcelain tile flooring installed throughout the kitchen and pantry
- Full floor preparation including grinding high spots, floating low areas, and applying a self-leveling system
- Handmade glass mosaic backsplash from Designer Glass Mosaics
- Pre-layout of all backsplash sheets to verify numbering and make adjustments before installation
- Paired with Brazilian Taupe granite countertops
Before installation, we laid out the entire backsplash on the countertop to verify the numbering and make necessary adjustments. A few sheets required minor corrections, which we handled prior to install to ensure a clean, consistent finished product.

Custom Cabinets and Expert Design
The rich cherry cabinets complement all of the other finishes and tie the space together. The real standout feature for our customer was the custom walk-in pantry, which replaced the outdated builder-grade shelving and now includes custom shelving and a built-in drawer bank for better storage and organization without changing the footprint.

Austin Kitchen Remodel – Final Transformation
The footprint of this kitchen stayed about the same, but the renovation completely improved how the space functions and feels. The new appliance layout, custom cabinetry, and better storage, especially in the walk-in pantry, made a noticeable difference in how the kitchen is used every day.
