Check out this open-concept kitchen remodel in Point Venture, Texas featuring hard maple shaker cabinets, a custom island, and wood-look tile flooring.
This kitchen remodel in the Point Venture subdivision of Lago Vista, TX transformed an outdated closed-off kitchen into a much more open and functional space. We removed the original L-shaped fur down and peninsula layout to create a fully open-concept kitchen centered around a custom L-shaped island with seating. The remodel also included hard maple shaker-style cabinetry, KitchenAid appliances, Delta plumbing fixtures, updated lighting, and wood-look porcelain tile flooring throughout the kitchen and living area.
Removing the original fur down and enclosed peninsula layout completely opened up the kitchen and improved the flow between the kitchen and living room. We replaced the peninsula with a custom L-shaped island that provides additional seating, storage, and a much more functional workspace for everyday use and entertaining.
This kitchen features shaker-style cabinetry built using hard maple rather than MDF or poplar commonly used in many paint-grade cabinet systems. The updated cabinetry layout improved storage, functionality, and overall flow while creating a cleaner and more modern appearance throughout the kitchen.
To help unify the kitchen and living room into one continuous space, we installed long-length wood-look porcelain tile flooring throughout the entire area. The remodel also included updated paint, a centered pendant light above the island, Delta plumbing fixtures, and a complete KitchenAid appliance package to complete the finished design.
The investment for this custom kitchen remodel was approximately $74. Learn more about kitchen remodeling costs in Austin TX.
