As a bathroom remodeling contractor in Round Rock, TX, we completed this Hidden Glen master bathroom remodel with a brighter, more modern design and a fully redesigned layout.
We completed this Hidden Glen master bathroom remodel with a redesigned layout focused on creating a brighter, more modern space with better storage and improved flow between the bathroom and adjoining closet. The original bathroom felt dark and dated, so the remodel included a larger custom shower, freestanding soaking tub, custom-built storage, white shaker vanity cabinetry, engineered stone surfaces, and a walk-in closet system with integrated shelving and drawer storage throughout.
The original shower and tub layout was completely reworked to create a larger primary shower with a cleaner transition across the room. The new shower features 8-foot tile walls, recessed wall niches, mosaic shower flooring, a frameless glass shower surround, polished chrome fixtures, and both rain head and handheld shower functions. A freestanding soaking tub was installed beneath the window with a wall-mounted tub filler, helping keep a more open feel between the tub and shower.
The vanity area was updated with white shaker cabinetry, engineered stone countertops, undermount sinks, and framed mirrors. A deeper center tower cabinet between the two sink areas adds functional separation while providing extra drawer and vertical storage. The adjoining walk-in closet was fully redesigned with custom shelving, hanging storage, drawer organization, shoe storage, tie displays, and a center island to improve organization throughout.
Large-format tile was installed in the shower and around the freestanding tub, with pencil liner trim used at all transitions and finished edges in place of traditional bullnose. Acacia Beignet hardwood flooring runs through the master bedroom, bathroom, and walk-in closet, creating a seamless flow between rooms. The updated finishes, cleaner lines, and consistent materials give the entire space a cohesive, modern feel.
