Custom cabinetry, expanded storage, oversized island seating, and modern finishes transformed this Austin kitchen remodel into a much more functional space.
This Austin custom kitchen remodel transformed an outdated builder-grade kitchen into a much more open and usable space. We substantially increased the size of the original kitchen island, added custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry, updated the kitchen layout, and finished the space with modern materials and custom details throughout.
One of the biggest changes in this kitchen remodel was expanding the original island to create significantly more seating, prep space, storage, and day-to-day usability. We also relocated the electric cooktop from the corner of the kitchen to create a better cooking layout and a more practical workspace.
The original builder-grade pantry closets were completely removed and replaced with custom floor-to-ceiling cabinetry to maximize storage and create a cleaner built-in appearance. We also relocated the refrigerator into the new pantry wall to create additional cabinet space and a more balanced kitchen layout.
This kitchen features custom flat-slab cabinetry with white upper cabinets, blue lower cabinets, a matching blue island, and a full-height blue pantry wall. Quartz countertops, a custom herringbone backsplash, KitchenAid appliances, Delta fixtures, updated lighting, and large-format tile flooring completed the remodel and gave the kitchen a cleaner modern design.
The investment for this custom kitchen remodel was approximately $76. Learn more about kitchen remodeling costs in Austin TX.
